Our IET accredited Graduate Engineering programme fully equips you to take on a permanent role with us. You’ll get hands-on experience and gain technical specialism and commercial insight – everything you need to kick-start your career and shape the future of our business.

What opportunities are available?

You won't be restricted to one particular part of the business. We want to give you a feel for how different teams work, so you get a thorough insight into electricity distribution. That way, when you complete the programme, you can select your preferred area, and be considered for roles within Operations, Capital Programme Delivery and Network Strategy and Technical Support.

Whether your have aspirations to be operational and respond to faults and undertake pro-active maintencnace on the network, become a Project Management or Design Engineer role or become involved with research into future technologies there are roles available to help shape your future career. These will provide you with the opportunity to work in urban Manchester across to rural Cumbria.
